Martin Moravcik Director/Founder

Martin Moravcik is an entrepreneur, innovator, and business leader who co-founded Manitoba Harvest in 1998 and helped build it into the world's leading hemp food company before successfully exiting the business in 2015. His pioneering work began even earlier, when he received support from Manitoba Agriculture in 1995 to organize Manitoba's first industrial hemp field trials, helping lay the foundation for the reintroduction of industrial hemp to Canada. With a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Manitoba and decades of experience creating businesses that generate real-world value, he brings a practical, firsthand perspective to the challenges facing today's global monetary system. Having spent more than thirty years creating value in the real economy, he believes the monetary system should reward production, innovation, and human ingenuity rather than speculation and debt. This conviction led him to develop the Second Value Protocol, a monetary framework designed to reconnect the creation of money with the creation of real economic value. Martin is the proud father of eight children, whose future inspired his determination to help build a more stable, productive, and equitable monetary system for generations to come.
